Chart of system of compulsory ventilation of a case
The chart of system of compulsory ventilation of a case of the engine with a turbocharger
The system of compulsory ventilation of a case (PCV) serves for reduction of emission of hydrocarbons by removal of vapors from an engine case. It is carried out by supply of atmospheric air from the air filter in an engine case where it mixes up with the gases which are available there and then comes back via the valve of system to an inlet collector.
The main details of PCV system is a valve of PCV system, hoses for atmospheric air and the vacuum hoses connecting details of system to the engine.
For ensuring normal operation of the engine idling the valve of PCV system blocks a stream in the presence of high depression in an inlet collector. At violations in work (for example, at defects of piston rings) the system serves for branch of more significant amount of the broken gases through an opening for ventilation of a case in the air filter, than it happens at a normal amount of a compression. |
