6.2.17. Replacement of the sensor of a detonation

GENERAL INFORMATION

Prevention

Make replacement of the sensor of a detonation on the cold engine.

The sensor of a detonation is located under an inlet collector on the left back part of the engine.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. For access to the sensor of a detonation remove an inlet collector.

2. Merge cooling liquid from the cooling system.

3. Disconnect the electric socket from the sensor.

4. Unscrew the detonation sensor from the block of cylinders of the engine.

5. Before installation of the new sensor of a detonation on a carving of the new sensor apply a thin film of sealant.

6. Further installation is made in sequence, the return to removal.
