Removal
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator. |
2. Install the piston of the first cylinder in VMT in a compression step. |
3. Take off driving belts. |
4. Remove assembly of the air filter. |
5. Remove the mechanism of a tension of a driving belt of the compressor of the air conditioning system. |
6. Remove the radiator fan together with a casing. |

7. Unscrew a bolt of fastening of a pulley of a cranked shaft, thus, using a special chain key, hold a pulley from a provorachivaniye. |

8. Remove a pulley of a cranked shaft. |
9. Remove central and two lateral casings of a gear belt. |
10. Turn a pulley of a cranked shaft so that tags on a pulley of a cranked shaft and on pulleys of the left and right camshafts were combined with indexes (see rice. An arrangement of adjusting tags on the engine of 2,2 l). |

11. Using white paint, note the mutual provision of a gear belt and a pulley of a cranked shaft, and also a gear belt and pulleys of camshafts, and also the provision of pulleys of camshafts relatively each other (see rice. An arrangement of adjusting tags on pulleys of the right camshafts of the engine of 2,5 l and the Arrangement of adjusting tags on pulleys of the left camshafts of the engine of 2,5 l). |

12. Weaken bolts of fastening of the mechanism of a tension and remove a single pulley (see rice. An arrangement of a pulley of the mechanism of a tension and a single pulley on the engine of 2,2 l). |
13. Take off a gear belt. |
|
14. Remove a pulley from a cranked shaft. |
15. Unscrew bolts and remove the mechanism of a tension of a gear belt (see rice. An arrangement of a bolt of fastening of the mechanism of a tension of a gear belt on models since 1998). |

16. Holding special flat-nose pliers pulleys of camshafts from a provorachivaniye, unscrew bolts of fastening of pulleys and remove pulleys from camshafts. |

Check
Prevention
Do not overwind and do not bend a gear belt. Exclude hit on a gear belt of oil, cooling liquid or fuel.
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Remove single pulleys and check a condition of their bearings. |
2. If there was a vykrashivaniye of teeths of a gear belt, possibly, the oil pump or a camshaft (see rice is jammed. Defects of a gear belt in the form of the painted tooth or cracks at the tooth basis). |
Prevention
If there was a rupture of a gear belt on the working engine, it is possible that there was an impact of pistons about the valve therefore the valve can be bent. Check gaps of valves. On the bent valves valvate gaps will be much more demanded.

3. If there is a considerable wear or stratification on an external surface of a gear belt, check a condition of a racetrack of single pulleys. |
|
4. If there is a wear or damage only on one party of a belt, check directing a gear belt and alignment of pulleys of a gear belt. |
5. With any defects on a gear belt it needs to be replaced. |
