Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Start the engine and warm up it up to the normal working temperature.
2. Switching the fan switch, the distributor of a stream of air and moving the handle of adjustment of temperature, check operability of system of heating (see rice. The control panel a heater of models from 1990 to 1994, rice. The control panel a heater of models since 1995).
Air distributor
3. Remove the dashboard. Using the tester connected to the control unit socket check operability of the switch (see rice. Check of the switch of the distributor of a stream of air on models from 1990 to 1994, see rice. Check of the switch of the distributor of a stream of air on models since 1995).
Air supply adjustment
4. First of all it is necessary to adjust system of ventilation of salon. Connect the electric socket of the gate of distribution of air and turn a key in the ignition lock in situation ASSORTMENT. Press VENT "air distribution" button. Thus lateral draft moves to the holder of draft.
5. Press the DEF button and check that lateral draft moves within the full range of the course (see rice. Situation VENT adjustment details).
6. Then check adjustment of supply of fresh air. Press the button of the FRESH AIR switch and connect a plait to the engine operating supply of fresh air. Turn a key in the ignition lock in situation ASS, press the button of the RECIRC switch and check that the gate moved to the provision of recirculation of air (see rice. Check of the distributor of air in the situation FRESH).
Lever of adjustment of air temperature
7. Connect a cable of adjustment of temperature and install the lever of adjustment of temperature in full cold situation (see rice. Control lever details air temperature).
8. Fix a cover of a cable of adjustment of temperature a clip and check that the cover of a cable did not move when moving the lever of adjustment of temperature.
Gate engine
9. Using additional wires, give accumulator tension to contacts of 1 and 2 electric sockets of the engine of the gate. Thus watch rotation of the engine of the gate (see rice. Check of the engine of the gate).
If when checking the engine of the gate does not work, replace the engine.
Check of the engine of the gate of the arriving air
10. On models with an electric motor of the gate of the arriving air check operation of the gate, giving additional wires accumulator tension to the electric socket (see rice. Check of the engine of the gate of the arriving air).
11. If when checking the engine of the gate of the arriving air, replace the engine.

Removal

Detachment of the electric socket of the switch of the fan

Prevention

On some models the safety airbag is installed. Therefore it is necessary to remove a weight wire from the accumulator and to wait at least one minute before work about the sensor of collision or the dashboard to avoid casual expansion of the airbag of safety.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator.

2. Remove finishing of the central part of the dashboard.

3. Unscrew screws and take the control panel a heater from the dashboard (see rice. An arrangement of screws of fastening of the control panel a heater on models from 1990 to 1994, rice. An arrangement of screws of fastening of the control panel a heater on models since 1995).

4. Disconnect a cable of adjustment of temperature from the control panel.

5. Disconnect the electric socket of a plait of wires of the switch of the fan and take the control panel a heater from the car (see rice. Detachment of the electric socket of the switch of the fan).

Installation

Installation is made in sequence, the return to removal. Adjust a cable of adjustment of temperature.
