Check of the sensor of pressure in an inlet collector by means of the manual vacuum pump and the voltmeter

The sensor measures pressure in an inlet collector which changes at change of load of the engine and issues information in the form of output tension. The ESM block uses information from pressure sensor for management of supply of fuel and the ignition moment.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. For check of the sensor include ignition, without starting the engine, and measure tension given to the sensor which has to be equal 5 Century.
2. For check of output tension of the sensor disconnect a vacuum hose from the sensor and connect the manual vacuum pump.
3. Disconnect the electric socket from the sensor and, using the voltmeter, measure tension on contacts of the sensor.
4. Creating various vacuum by means of the manual vacuum pump and watching indications of the voltmeter, check the size of output tension of the sensor depending on vacuum size (see rice. Check of the sensor of pressure in an inlet collector by means of the manual vacuum pump and the voltmeter).
5. On the engine with a turbocharger check resistance of the coil of the sensor of pressure which has to make from 37 to 48 Century.
