5.16.2. Fuel highway

GENERAL INFORMATION

Details of fastening of the fuel highway

And – screws of fastening of a fuel-supply line

In – bolts of fastening of the fuel highway

With – a returnable fuel-supply line

Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove pressure in fuel system. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator.
2. Remove pipes and hoses which can interfere with removal of the fuel highway.
3. Disconnect electric sockets from fuel nozzles.
4. Unscrew screws and separate metal fuel-supply lines from the fuel highway.
5. Unscrew the bolts fixing the fuel highway.
6. Remove the fuel highway together with nozzles from an inlet collector.
7. Installation is made in sequence, the return to removal. At installation of fuel nozzles and at connection of pipelines to the fuel highway use new sealing rings.
