The evaporator of the air conditioning system is located under the dashboard from the passenger.
Removal
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Discharge the air conditioning system. |
| 2. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator. |
Prevention
On some models the safety airbag is installed. Therefore it is necessary to remove a weight wire from the accumulator and to wait at least one minute before work about the sensor of collision or the dashboard to avoid casual expansion of the airbag of safety.

| 3. Remove a ware box from the dashboard. |
| 4. Disconnect evaporator coolant pipes from a partition of a motor compartment (see rice. An arrangement of pipes of coolant of the evaporator on a partition of a motor compartment). |
| 5. Remove big clips of fastening of a casing of the evaporator to a heater and a casing of the engine of the fan. |
| 6. Unscrew the bolt and a nut fixing an evaporator casing (see rice. Arrangement of a nut and bolt of fastening of a casing of the evaporator). |
| 7. Disconnect the electric socket and a drainage hose from an evaporator casing. |
| 8. Remove brackets, the fixing halves of a casing of the evaporator and divide an evaporator casing. Remove the thermostat from the top casing. Take the evaporator with the expansion valve from a thermostat casing. Unscrew connection and remove the expansion valve (see rice. Separation of the valve of a dilator from the evaporator). |

Installation
Prevention
At installation of the new evaporator it is necessary to establish a new receiver / dehumidifier.
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. At installation of the new evaporator merge oil from the old evaporator in a measuring test tube. Fill in the same amount of new oil in the new evaporator. |
| 2. Check that plates of the evaporator are not hammered with dirt. If it is necessary, wash out evaporator plates cold water and blow compressed air. |
| 3. Further installation is made in sequence, the return to removal. |
