1. Before installation of new piston rings check a gap in the lock of a piston ring. |
2. Arrange pistons and piston rings according to cylinders in which they will work. |
3. Establish a piston ring in a piston flute. |
|
4. Measure by an edge of the probe a gap of a piston ring in a piston flute. |
5. Install the top sealing ring in the first cylinder and the bottom of the piston push it in the cylinder to the cylinder basis. |
|
6. Using the probe, measure a gap in the lock of a piston ring. |
7. Repeat process of measurement with the ring established in the top part of the cylinder and compare results of measurement to technical requirements. |
8. Repeat operation of check for each ring in the first cylinder, then for rings in other cylinders. |
9. Establish piston rings on pistons in the same way, as well as at removal (see rice. An arrangement of piston rings on the piston). |
10. First of all the oil scraper ring which consists of three separate elements is established. Establish a dilator of an oil scraper ring in a piston flute, then consistently establish the top and lower oil scraper rings. |
11. Establish a compression ring No. 2 so that the tag at an end face was directed (see rice up. An arrangement of a tag of R or N on a piston ring). Do not mix the first and second compression rings as they have various profile. |
12. After installation of piston rings on the piston check ease of movement of a piston ring in a piston flute. |
13. Put locks of piston rings on the piston as it is shown on rice. An arrangement of locks of piston rings on the piston |
