2.27. Replacement of the fuel filter

GENERAL INFORMATION

Arrangement of the fuel filter

The fuel filter is located on the left side in a motor compartment about the main brake cylinder.

Prevention

Gasoline is extremely flammable therefore observe precautionary measures during the work on elements of fuel system.

When working on fuel system previously remove pressure in fuel system.


Make replacement of the fuel filter on the cold engine.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Weaken collars of fastening and move them on hoses from the fuel filter.
2. At the same time turning and having pulled, remove hoses from the fuel filter.
3. Remove the old fuel filter from an arm, install the new fuel filter, connect to it hoses and fix bolts. Start the engine and check that in fuel system there are no leaks.
